Iron Mountain Hot Springs lets parents and kids relax in multiple mineral pools and cool off in the family-friendly freshwater pool. The truly brave will be drawn to the outdoor showers and cold plunges. At Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, make a splash in the enormous warm water outdoor pool, then take a dip in the Yampah Mineral Pools. The newest addition to the historic hot spring resort includes two chilly cold plunges.
Spring skiing
Ski season is in full swing. Spring skiing at Sunlight Mountain Resort is a refreshingly affordable family-friendly adventure with plenty of groomed runs, a terrain park, and an easygoing vibe.
