Travellers who had their US Airways boarding passes sent to their cell phones found that to be true earlier this week when a glitch in the system produced passes with the wrong names or flight numbers.
The airline said the problem affected travelers who used the US Airways mobile site or app, which rolled out this summer.
It was fixed after about three hours.
