Global managing director Rod Bromiley is leaving the consortium after ten years with the group.

Chairman George Begg said Bromiley will leave “shortly” to pursue fresh opportunities.

Group operations director Andrew Botterill will step up to the role of chief executive.

“I would like to thank Rod for his contribution over the past ten years and wish him well for the future and in the pursuit of his ambitions,” Begg said in a statement. “As group operations director, Andrew has taken the group Global from strength to strength and I am confident in his abilities and in his commitment to steer Global to continued to success.

The management shake-up comes as Global forged a three-way super-consortium with Advantage Travel Centres and Worldchoice.
