Global Travel Market recruits manager from Gold Medal

Liz Reddy is moving from Gold Medal Travel after 18 years to join travel metasearch engine Global Travel Market as commercial manager.

Reddy, who takes up her new role on May 1, will be responsible for the continued growth and expansion of Global Travel Market’s www.australiatravelmarket.com website.

She will have responsibility for developing relationships with UK-based Australia specialists, as well as to develop new business opportunities for tourism product within Australia.

Reddy will report to Global Travel Market commercial director, Amy Sullivan.

She said: “What really attracted me to this new challenge was the exciting new distribution channel that has been developed by Global Travel Market”. 

Global Travel Market CEO Dave Simmons said: “I am absolutely delighted to have someone of the calibre of Liz joining the GTM team.  Liz has achieved brilliant results with her previous employer and is highly regarded amongst both the UK and Australian trade.”
