Gold Medal and Travel 2 boost trade-dedicated sales team
Gold Medal and Travel 2 have announced four new sales team appointments.
Clare Weatherall, who has been with the business for four years as key account manager, is appointed head of national accounts and will report directly to sales director B2B Europe Nick Hughes.
Gemma Wilks joins the team in the role of key account manager, from Bourne Leisure, where she has been sales executive for the last two years.
Hollie Stillion, current key account manager for London, is promoted to the new position of business development manager.
Helen Warnes, currently a team leader within Travel 2, has been promoted to the newly created air account manager role. Both Stillion and Warnes will report into head of sales Colin Currie.
Gemma Pinder, current key account manager for North East and Yorkshire will be leaving the business at the end of June.
Hughes said: "Both of our businesses are growing. As such we need a structure that is fit for purpose and can take us to the next level. I’m excited to be able to further strengthen our support for our partners and drive continual improvement within both businesses.
"Recruiting from within allows me to capitalise on the talent we have nurtured within the business whilst bringing in new talent from the travel industry ensures we will have a fresh eyes perspective too."
He plans to make further appointments to his sales team over the coming months.
