Hainan Airlines launches Shenzhen flights to Budapest
Hainan Airlines has touched down at Budapest Airport, marking the launch of a new direct route from Shenzhen, China.
Hainan Airlines is operating 787 Dreamliners on the 8,499-kilometre route.
Francios Berisot, CEO, Budapest Airport said “It’s wonderful to be able to welcome Shenzhen as the latest addition to an expanding list of destinations available from Budapest.
“The return of Hainan Airlines is especially significant on the 20th anniversary of the airlines’ first European flight.”
Shenzhen flights operate twice a week to Budapest.
Budapest Airport now handles 20 weekly flights to and from China, representing seat capacity of 400,000 annually.
