Hong Kong Airlines is boosting frequencies on some Japanese routes over the coming months.
Reacting to growing demand, HK Airlines will go double daily on the Hong Kong-Osaka route from 15 September.
Additionally on October 30, the carrier is adding two more flights a week to Sapporo, which upgrades it to a daily service.
"The Japan destinations have been quite popular among Hong Kong Airlines’ passengers. We have been proactively exploring to add frequency to these routes so as to meet the travel demand of our passengers," said Li Dianchun, chief commercial officer of Hong Kong Airlines.
By the end of October HK Airlines will operate 60 flights per week to Japan, supported by the recently announced new route to Yonago which begins on September 14.
The airline also flies to Okinawa, Tokyo, Kagoshima, Miyazaki and Okayama.
