Tuesday, 30 June 20093 min read

Hoseasons saw pre-tax profits for last year jump by almost £1 million helped by demand for new lodge-style holidays and city break apartments.

Profits rose to £3.13 million last year against £2.15 million in 2007 based on sales up to £15.6 million from £13.7 million.

The mainly UK domestic operator has also had a good start to 2009 with staff receiving a bonus worth equivalent to around two per cent of salary.

The operator’s self-catering accommodation is helping boost sales this year, although bookings are coming in at around four to six weeks before departure.

Investment in technology and a drive online has also helped boost bookings.
