Hotel chain appoints marketing director
Millennium and Copthorne Hotels has appointed Karen Sequeira in the newly-created position of director of marketing for Europe.
She will oversee the corporate marketing department as well as the marketing for all hotels across the UK and Europe.
Sequeira previously headed up the marketing department at Norwegian specialist cruise line Hurtigruten, where she oversaw the development of a global loyalty programme and the installment of a new in-house CRM system.
She was also the head of marketing Communications at Swan Hellenic, and has previous marketing experience at Hilton Hotels.
