Hotel du Vin to open in Tyneside

Malmaison has acquired an historic building in Newcastle which it plans to convert into a Hotel Du Vin.
Allan House on City Road, near the Ouseburn Valley, was sold for around £2 million.
The red brick building will open as a 42-bedroomed Hotel du Vin in 2008.
