Hotelbeds selects Bali for MarketHub Asia event
Bedbank Hotelbeds has picked the Island of the Gods as host destination for its 2nd MarketHub Asia event.
More than 300 Hotelbeds partners from across all the main source markets in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East will descend on Bali for the three-day event from October22 – 25.
An invitation-only event, attendees are expected to include senior executives and decision makers from major tour operators, airlines, and loyalty programmes.
This year’s MarketHub Asia takes the theme of ‘SHIFTING FUTURES’, which points to changes across the industry in areas such as technology, distribution, payments, and data.
"We launched the first edition of MarketHub Asia two years ago in Bangkok and received very positive feedback. This edition will be focused on our ‘SHIFTING FUTURES’ theme, exploring in depth the future of the hotel accommodation distribution eco-system," said Carlos Muñoz, Hotelbeds’ bedbank managing director.
"This year’s MarketHub events are particularly exciting for us as they are the first large scale events as one consolidated company. Over the last year we’ve been working hard to create one new and enhanced business to better serve our partners."
Along with the inaugraul Asia event in Bangkok in 2017, there have been nine previous MarketHub events in the Americas and five in Europe.
Hotelbeds announced the MarketHub Asia hotel hosts are The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Conrad Bali and Hilton Bali Resort.
