Hotels in overseas tourist resorts requiring proof of vaccination
With the delta variant fueling a new wave of Covid-19 infections in multiple countries, tourist-friendly businesses – including hotels, restaurants, and bars – are demanding proof of vaccination.
In Mexico, Quintana Roo tourist hotspots such as Cancun are requiring guests to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative test result.
It is also extending to Mazatlan this weekend. Earlier this month, Portugal hotels began requiring guests to present their vaccination status or provide a negative Covid-19 test. A similar rule is in effect in Austria for indoor attractions, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.
