Hua Hin’s reopening slated for 1 October
Thai beach town Hua Hin has set a reopening date of 1 October to welcome international tourists. The reopening plan was announced by provincial governor Prompiriya Kitnuson.
It will reopen under the slogan ‘Hua Hin Recharge’ allowing fully-jabbed travellers to visit without quarantine.
Prompiriya said it has plans to vaccinate 100% of workers employed in the tourism and services sector and at least 70% of the general; adult population by the end of September.
However, at present only a small percentage of the population have been vaccinated.
