Hundreds of passengers are being forced to cut short their cruise holiday after the P&O cruise ship collision in Palma.
Around 300 guests will be flown home to Southampton early.
In bad weather, P&O Cruises ship Britannia’s mooring broke and it collided with an oil tanker.
A ‘small number’ of injuries were reported.
This crash has caused ‘sustained structural issues’ with one of the ship’s lifeboats.
The line says this ‘cannot be repaired onboard.’
Due to maritime regulations, ship passenger capacity must be reduced.
It means 321 guests and crew will leave the ship and flown home earlier.
P&O Cruises apologised for the ‘extraordinary circumstances.’
Britannia returns to Southampton on Friday
