Icelandair, Emirates plan airline codeshare partnership
Icelandair and Emirates have signed an initial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to partner on strategic projects include an airline codeshare.
The airlines will work towards a codeshare agreement allowing customers to connect easily across the two airlines’ networks.
They presented the MoU took at the ITB Berlin.
A strategic partnership between Icelandair and Emirates will boost both airlines’ offerings for convenient connections on a single ticket with luggage checked all the way to the final destination.

We have and will continue to expand our network of partner airlines, focusing on working with airlines that offer great service and connectivity.”
Emirates will become Icelandair’s seventh global airline codeshare partner.
Adnan Kazim, Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates said: “We are pleased to deepen our partnership with Icelandair. Their network complements our European presence, providing an array of connections for our customers.”
