In-flight gambling lessons on offer
Passengers flying with Virgin Atlantic to Las Vegas are being given the chance to increase their chances of winning, with in-flight gaming lessons. The Daily Telegraph reports that ‘gambling trainers’ will teach passengers blackjack, roulette and baccarat in the airline’s Gatwick clubhouse and on flights, with a croupier being flown in from the city’s MGM Mirage casino to provide the training. Virgin chief executive Steve Ridgeway said: “We are always looking at innovative ways to enhance the service we provide for passengers. The gambling classes will go down very well with our Upper Class passengers, and hopefully, increase their chances in the casinos during their stay.” Virgin is soon due to increase its services to Las Vegas; soon there will be four Virgin Atlantic flights a week to the city.
