ITO’s have a great day in South Australia – in Sydney!
South Australia Tourist Commission’s take over of Sydney continued yesterday after its successful TalkSA agents evening on Wednesday with a full day yesterday set aside for SA operator’s to present their wares to Sydney based ITO’s.
TalkSA provided ITO’s with the opportunity of being updated on improved and new product in South Australia in face to face scheduled appointments, with very strong interest from a number of areas including ITO’s specialising in Japan, Chins and South America in addition to the traditional core destinations of the UK, Europe and the USA and of course NZ.

With some domestic destinations generally in decline, South Australia is bucking the trend and doing well, with more and more Australians discovering the tremendous variety and depth of product South Australia has to offer, with ITO’s saying that demand for South Australia is strong, with ITO’s adding that Kangarooo Island is becoming one of Australia’s iconic, must visit destinations for international visitors, becoming as well known as Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef and the award winning classic route across from Victoria via the Great Ocean Road being a firm favourite with domestic and international visitors and continuing to drive visitation into the State.
