January 16 breaks Travel Counsellors sales records
Travel Counsellors has reported that Friday January 16 2015 was its highest sales day in the company’s 20-year history.
It said it achieved a global sales total of £2.82 million on that day, beating the previous best day of £2.6 million in January 2014.
Overall UK sales for January are up by 7% from the previous year, topping £40 million in a month.
Meanwhile, Travel Counsellors for Business saw a jump in sales of 9% on last year.
The company operates in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, Canada and Dubai with global sales for the financial year end (October 31 2014) at £428m, an 11% increase on the previous year.
