Jet2 adds Gdansk as newest Christmas market destination
Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their winter 2024/25 Christmas Markets programme with the addition of Polish city Gdansk.
Bookings for festive flights and city breaks to Gdansk in Poland are now live from Birmingham and Manchester airports from 29 November to 23 December 2024.
Flights run on Mondays and Fridays.
The Gdansk Christmas Market is considered one of the most attractive in Europe, and from November the Targ Węglowy area is doted with illuminations, fairground attractions, a food zone, handcrafted gifts and local delicacies.
As well as the Christmas Market, Gdansk offers other attractions, including the Museum of the Second World War, Gdansk Old Town, and the Dlugi Targ (Long Market).
Following this most recent expansion, Jet2 will operate to eight Christmas Market holiday destinations next winter.
These are Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Krakow, Prague and Vienna departing from 11 UK airports
The upcoming Christmas Markets programme will be the biggest to date.
“There is a huge amount of demand for Christmas Market breaks. Gdansk is a fantastic destination, and expect these new flights and city breaks to be extremely popular,” said Steve Heapy, Jet2 CEO.
The company just added Christmas Market holidays from Belfast International to Krakow and recently added its first festive market flights at Liverpool John Lennon.
