Jet2.com has been the most punctual UK airline of the summer so far, according to data by air travel intelligence firm OAG.
It said 85.8% of Jet2.com’s flights were on time in June and 85.7% were on time in July, when it outperformed any other UK airline by more than 4%.
Jet2.com said it had improved its on time performance this summer despite significantly expanding its flying programme and launching new bases at Stansted and Birmingham.

"Punctuality is one of the most important things to our customers, alongside our award-winning customer service and friendly flight times, so we are delighted to hear that we were the most punctual UK airline during June and July."
