Jet2.com is expanding its Winter 2026/27 ski program with the launch of a new route between London Stansted and Innsbruck, giving skiers and snowboarders easier access to the Austrian Alps.
The airline has put the new service on sale following continued demand for winter sports vacations. Weekly Saturday flights will operate from December 19, 2026, through April 10, 2027. The new route will add more than 6,000 ski seats from London Stansted and strengthens Jet2.com’s winter sports offering from the Southeast.
Innsbruck becomes the fifth ski destination served by Jet2.com from London Stansted, joining Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble and Salzburg.
Located in the heart of the Austrian Alps, Innsbruck offers quick access to several leading ski resorts. The nearby Nordkette ski area can be reached from the city center in around 20 minutes and features slopes for a range of abilities as well as a snow park. Travelers can also reach popular resorts including Mayrhofen, known for its reliable snow conditions, and St. Anton am Arlberg, one of Europe’s best-known après-ski destinations.
Across its UK network, the low-cost carrier will operate flights to eight ski gateways during Winter 2026/27: Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Innsbruck, Lyon, Salzburg, Turin and Verona. Flights will be available from 12 UK airport bases: Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International.
The Innsbruck service is the sixth new ski route introduced for Winter 2026/27, following the addition of flights from London Gatwick to Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg and Turin.
With the latest expansion, Jet2.com says its overall ski program for Winter 2026/27 will be 30% larger than the previous winter season, reflecting growing demand for ski and snowboard vacations across Europe.
