Jet2CityBreaks expands Discover More range to Porto
Jet2CityBreaks just launched a selection of Discover More packages to brand-new city break destination Porto.
The operator is offering Discover More getaways to the UNIESCO World Heritage Site for summer 2024 summer 2025 that include a Douro Valley wine tour.
The full day wine tour features a visit to an estate port wine producer where holidaymakers will be able to try three local wines.
After the wine tasting, customers will move on to a Quinta port wine producer for a wine pairing lunch.
They will then be able to explore the vineyards and enjoy more tasting at a second wine producer, followed by a Rabelo boat cruise in Pinhão.
Discover More packages to Porto are on sale from Manchester for summer 2024 and summer 2025 and from Birmingham Airport for summer 2025.
As well as the wine tour, holidaymakers booking a Discover More package will be able to explore northern Portugal’s biggest city.
The launch of Discover More packages to Porto follows the recent announcement that Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have brought forward the launch of Porto city breaks to summer 2024 from Manchester thanks to customer demand.
Last year, the companies announced the launch of Porto city breaks and flights for summer 2025.
Discover More is a collection of experience-based city breaks and holidays that have been designed to appeal to those seeking historic sights, local cultures, and exploring nature.
As well as Porto, the Discover More range currently includes Iceland, Bergen and the Fjords, Turkey and Croatian cruises.
Discover More Porto city breaks include flights with Jet2.com, and 4+-star accommodation with a £60 per person deposit.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our Porto city break programme and offering Discover More packages.”
“We are seeing more customers wanting to experience it all on their holidays”.
