JetBlue flights take off to Belize
JetBlue has recently launched Belize flights from New York’s JFK Airport.
Flights to Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport in Belize City run Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
“We’re thrilled to add Belize to our growing network and offer our customers more choices to experience unique destinations,” said David Jehn, VP, network planning and airline partnerships.
“Adding nonstop service to Belize enhances our presence in Latin America and the Caribbean and our commitment to low fares to more destinations and customers.”
So far this year, over 250,000 Americans have flown to Belize City, representing two-thirds of all overnight visitors to Belize.
“After months of anticipation, we’re thrilled to finally welcome JetBlue’s first-ever nonstop flight to Belize,” said Hon. Anthony Mahler, Belize’s Minister of Tourism.
Belize is home to Mayan caves, reefs, and verdant national parks, tropical jungles, and wildlife reserves.
