John Lambe elected as Chair of OpenTravel Alliance
An important time for OpenTravel as it celebrates its tenth anniversary

OpenJaw Technologies, a leader in delivering high performance travel distribution solutions to the global travel industry, is delighted to announce that John Lambe, Chief Technology Officer, has been elected as Chair of the OpenTravel Alliance, the travel industry’s leading distribution specification/standards development organization.
Commenting on the announcement, John Lambe said “OpenTravel is celebrating ten years of building free messaging standards to serve the electronic distribution needs of the travel industry. I am honoured to be elected as Chair of the OpenTravel Alliance during this anniversary year and I am looking forward to further developing the important work of the Alliance.â€
John has been an active participant in the OpenTravel initiative for a number of years particularly in the Airline, Data Content, Best Practices and Architecture areas. He is also the International Representative on the OpenTravel Board.
John is an internationally recognised expert on internet booking engines and travel distribution software design. His vision and expertise extends into some of the world’s leading travel companies. He has an in depth knowledge of issues involved in travel supplier integration, distribution channel management, dynamic packaging and ecommerce strategies.
John leads OpenJaw’s technical strategy and product management functions in developing high performance dynamic packaging and supplier connectivity solutions for travel industry leaders.
