Judge dismisses Southwest Airlines pilots’ case against vaccine mandate
A Texas judge tossed an injunction request to block Southwest Airlines’ vaccine mandate for employees. The case was brought by pilot union SWAPA.
The union had unsuccessfully sought exemptions to the mandate, citing possible side effect which could hamper the ability to perform a key safety critical role.
As a federal contractor, Southwest said it has to be in ‘full compliance; with the federal vaccination mandate.
