lastminute bags ex-Thomas Cook director
Lastminute.com has appointed Andrew Windsor group head of sales and marketing.
Mr Windsor left Thomas Cook in December following a reshuffle of the management team. In his new role he will co-ordinate global marketing and commercial deals reporting to co-founder and group managing director, Martha Lane Fox.
Lastminute.com announced a 158.8 percent increase year-on-year in gross profit for quarter one, to £11.3 million. This narrowed EBITDA for quarter one, ending 31 December, to a £1.6 million loss, an improvement on the previous year, when quarter one EBITDA was a loss of £5.1 million.
