Legoland Florida reopens after hoax bomb scare

Legoland Florida will reopen today following a bomb scare Thursday which law enforcement investigators said was a hoax.
Winter Haven Police gave the all-clear after no explosives were found but the park remained closed for the rest of the day.
"Making a false report of an explosive device is absolutely not a joke and law enforcement will continue to investigate the origin of the threat and charge the person responsible to the fullest extent," the police department said in a statement.
Police said a bomb threat was received just before midday Thursday and an evacuation was completed about one hour later.
Legoland ‘quickly made the decision to evacuate our theme park and hotel according to our established safety protocols,’ said general manager Adrian Jones.
"We’ll work with all guests to address any requests for ticket or hotel changes and refunds."
The bomb threat reportedly came to light when a note was found inside the park.
The resort hotel reopened for guests later on Thursday.
