Live events travel platform Fandeavor acquired by TicketCity
Ticket resale service TicketCity has announced the acquisition of live events ticketing platform Fandeavor.
Founded in Las Vegas in 2012, Fandeavor offers planning and booking for travel packages to live events such as World Cup soccer, the Olympics, Super Bowl and F1 races.
No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
The merger will give Fandeavor’s customers access to TicketCity’s tickets, accommodations and experiences for more than 100,000 events globally.
"Through this acquisition, we’re confident that Fandeavor’s loyal global customer base will continue to seamlessly access the best selection of tickets and places to stay at their event," said Zach Anderson, TicketCity president.
TicketCity has sold about four million tickets since forming in 1990 and claims to be the first ticketing platform to offer online ticketing.
"This acquisition validates the incredible work of our team over the past seven years and gives our customers access to the best tickets, experiences and customer service that TicketCity has spent 30 years building." said Tom Ellingson, co-founder of Fandeavor.
