Loews Hotels names IHG exec as new CCO

Loews Hotels & Resorts has tapped IHG executive Oliver Bonke as the company’s first-ever chief commercial officer.
Bonke joins Loews from IHG where he held the CCO Americas position and is tasked with overseeing all Loews’ sales, marketing and public affairs functions.
"The newly created positon of a chief commercial officer is vital as Loews experiences a significant growth period," said Loews CEO Kirk Kinsell.
Prior to IHG, Bonke spent more than 20 years in a variety of management positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts including five years as senior vice president, sales & marketing, EAME.
"This is an incredible opportunity for me to join a stellar team and help expand Loews Hotels as a premium competitor for the future. Now is the perfect time to leverage my background and help meet the expected business goals of the brands," Bonke said.
