Loganair to launch four new flights from Newquay

Loganair is to launch four new routes from Cornwall next spring.

The services to Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Norwich will operate from Newquay Airport.

A year-round four times a week service to Newcastle will launch on April 1, with three of the flights continuing on to Aberdeen. Aberdeen will also have a Saturday non-stop service to Newquay and extra flights in July and August.

Flights to Glasgow will operate during the summer only, starting on May 22, while summer flights to Norwich will launch on April 3.

Loganair MD Jonathan Hinkles said: "We’re excited to be working with Cornwall Airport Newquay and have been working for some time to develop these routes at just the right level.

"With more and more people holidaying in the UK, avoiding expensive Euro exchange rates or enjoying a staycation with friends and family we’re confident that the routes will do well.

"The growing economic links between Cornwall, the east coast of England and Scotland also mean that we’re confident that business demand will sustain the year-round services."
