Malaysia Airlines has reached a settlement with an Australian family which lost four members, including three young children, on Flight MH17 that came down over Ukraine.
The settlement comes nearly three years after the plane was shot down.
"Malaysian Airline System Berhad confirms that it has reached an amicable and confidential settlement with the Maslin family and therefore the suit has been withdrawn. MAS will not however disclose any further details on this suit or about the details of the settlement in respect to the privacy of the family. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the families and friends affected," MAS said in a statement,
Anthony and Marite Maslin over the deaths of children Mo, 12; Evie, 10; and Otis, eight, as well as their grandfather, Nick Norris.
The Maslins were the first Australian family to settle with the airline.
The jet was shot down over Donetsk, eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014, killing all 298 passengers and crew.
