Marriott has big expansion plans for Vietnam
Marriott International is set to quadruple its hotel count in Vietnam.
It says it has a pipeline of 30 hotels comprising nearly 9,000 rooms.
It will see the debut of brands including Ritz-Carlton Residences and Westin.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Hanoi is slated to open in 2024.
Other key openings include Sheraton Hotels in Phu Quoc and Dalat, Le Méridien Hotels in Danang and Cam Ranh.
The Fairfield by Marriott brand is checking in to Vinh Yen, Ha Long and Hanoi, while Courtyard by Marriott hotels are planned in Danang, Ha Long and Nha Trang.
“With the recent reopening of borders, we are hopeful for Vietnam to rebound rapidly, and we are excited to expand across even more parts of this captivating country, ”said Jakob Helgen, area VP of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar.
Marriott currently has 10 hotels operating in Vietnam, across six of the company’s brands.
