Marriott to pay workers to get Covid vaccination
Marriott International will incentivize hotel workers to get a Covid-19 vaccination. Marriott will award a payment equivalent to four hours pay to North America based hotel employees.
Having vaccinated front line workers is key to the recovery and will instil customer confidence. It strongly encourages all workers to get the shots but is not making it compulsory. Marriot was heavily impacted by the slump in travel demand during the pandemic and posted a record loss for 2020.
