Marriott’s Luxury Collection debuts in South Korea
Marriott International’s independent brand The Luxury Collection has landed in South Korea.
It marked a brand debut in the country with the opening of Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Gangnam.
The hotel has a century-long history as one of Korea’s first luxury hotels.
"We are delighted to mark the milestone expansion of our Luxury Collection brand into South Korea. The opening further diversifies our exciting collection of hotels in South Korea, offering unique experiences to guests," said Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International.
The hotel’s 254 rooms and suites offer views overlooking Seoul and are furnished with the latest amenities including bath amenities by The Luxury Collection’s signature ‘Le Chemin’ line by BYREDO, as well as a specialised private bar for guests who enjoy crafting their own cocktails in-room.
It features multiple dining venues including authentic modern Cantonese fine dining at The Great Hong Yuan, as well as 1914 Lounge & Bar.
There is a wellness club and bespoke function rooms and facilities for hosting events.
Josun Palace follows Marriott International’s Commitment to Clean health and safety protocols.
A robot butler is also available 24/7 to deliver hotel amenities and convenience items to guests.
