Ratings agency Moody’s Investors Service says Qantas faces tough conditions in the next few years and possibly lower profit growth.
Moody’s says the challenges include high fuel costs stiff international competition and the need for more capital.
Moody’s yesterday affirmed its B-double-A-one long-term and P-two short-term ratings on Qantas.
But it’s changed the airline’s outlook to negative from stable meaning the airline could potentially face a rating downgrade.
