Sunday, 31 Mar, 2014 0

Perth’s hotel building boom continues to gather pace.

Following last week’s announcement of a Ritz-Carlton for the new Elizabeth Quay riverfront development, Starwood Hotels released news that its Aloft brand will launch in Perth in 2016 – the brand’s debut in Australia.

Starwood is also set to open The Westin Perth in 2017.

Not to be left out of the action, Hilton Worldwide will open two hotels in Perth under the Doubletree by Hilton brand.

DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront will be located in Perth city, fronting the Swan River. The 241-room hotel is expected to open in mid-2016.

DoubleTree by Hilton Fremantle, with 150 rooms, is due to open in 2017.
