More than one million already have EU Digital Covid certificate
More than one million people across the EU now have Covid-19 certificates. Nine countries have already started issuing them ahead of the official region-wide rollout next month.
They have already been implemented under a test phase in Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Croatia, Poland, Lithuania, Spain and the Czech Republic.
The Covid certificate will show proof that the user has received their full Covid-19 vaccinations, has already recovered from the virus, or has a negative PCR test result.
