Morocco extends flight ban
Morocco’s inbound flight ban.will continue until the New Year. News agency MAP confirmed the initial two-week flight ban, set to expire today, is extended until 31 December. The suspension of international passenger flights came into force on 29 November
Morocco has Africa’s highest vaccination rate at over 70% of its target population, but is taking no chances with the fast-spreading Omicron variant.
The country is also progressing fairly well with its booster programme. The Ministry of Health says about two million people have received a third dose.
