MSC Cruises is bringing forward its debut at Port Canaveral.
The line was due to base the MSC Divina at Port Canaveral starting next spring but will now debut at the port earlier with the MSC Seaside from November.
Both the Seaside and Divina will sail three-, four- and seven-night cruises from Port Canaveral.
They will sail to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, with calls at MSC Cruises’ private Bahamian destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, as well as the Cayman Islands; Cozumel, and Nassau.
The MSC Seaside will begin from November through March, and will then be replaced by the Divina.
"Port Canaveral has always been an extremely popular port with cruisers. It is easily accessible, offers innovative and modern terminals, and provides convenient access to many attractions in the surrounding area," said MSC Cruises USA president Ruben Rodriguez.
MSC joins Carnival, Disney, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean at the port.
MSC is rolling out ‘new comprehensive and enhanced health and safety protocols which are being developed in collaboration with relevant national and international health authorities.’
"As we look toward the upcoming year, we are eager to bring our guests back to sea when the time is right, with health and safety as a top priority," Rodriguez said.
