MSC Cruises sales and commercial director Lee Strongitharm has been appointed CEO of A2Btravelextras.com.

Executive responsibility for the business will be passed to Strongitharm from Renaldo Scheepers, who will become chairman of the newly restructured parent company A2Bairportparking.

These changes do not affect the WWTE Group, which owns a2btransfers.com and resorthoppa.com

Commenting on the appointment, Scheepers said: "I am delighted to welcome Lee to A2Btravelextras at a very exciting time for the company.

"We have grown significantly over the last 12 months and more dedicated focus is needed on our extras business to continue this growth.  Lee’s comprehensive experience and understanding of the travel industry will be invaluable to further grow the business.

"This appointment is important and completes the progressive strengthening of the extras business enabling focused investment that will lead to rapid growth."
