NCL launch new agent booking engine
Norwegian Cruise Line is launching a new booking engine offering added functionality for agents.
Called ‘Freestyle,’ it comes with a group module giving the capability to manage group reservations online, customize amenities down to the first stateroom, and distribute tour conductor credits.
The booking tool adds an interactive deck map allowing agents to view all vacant staterooms in all categories.
From the deck plan, up to five staterooms can be booked and placed on hold for 30 minutes before the transaction is completed.
Also, agents can easily compare group and FIT rates together and schedule final payments for a later date.
Norwegian also provides an option for agents to select how commission is to be paid.
The changes have been brought about by agent feedback and suggestions, according to NCL executive vice president of global sales, Andy Stuart.
"We continue to look for ways to make it easier for travel partners to do business with us, and with these new features, we are confident that partners will love how easy and flexible it is to book their clients on Norwegian," he said.
