NCL, sister brands extend cancellations through October

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings won’t resume sailing until at least November.

Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises have extended the suspension of cruises though 31 October 2020.

It had earlier announced a shutdown through September 30.

Norwegian said it will provide an update at the end of each month regarding progress and further cruise cancellations if needed ‘in an effort to provide additional transparency.’

Guests booked on affected sailings should reach out to the cruise line or their travel advisor for rebooking and refund and credit options.

Guests seeking a refund can make a request starting on 3 August.

Refunds will be processed within 60 days.

"The safety, security and well-being of our guests, crew and communities we visit is our number one priority. We continue to closely monitor the global health environment," the company said in a website message.
