Elsewhere in Asia, the company have expanded their volunteer programmes to include the 13-day ‘Island Insight’ in Thailand (*$544 per person plus US$100 local payment and A$560 donation). Based in the beautiful Phang Nga Bay volunteers get to experience life in a rural fishing village as they work alongside the local community undertaking duties that may include harvesting and planting rice and waxing and varnishing fishing boats. During the programme volunteers live with local families in a homestay environment.

In India volunteers spend 4-days as guests of a local Rajput (ruler) as they work together to improve the lives of the many underprivileged people in the local village of Chandelao in Rajasthan.
