New details about how stowaway snuck on a Paris bound flight
A TSA investigation has found the Russian woman who stowed away on a flight to Paris started in a line dedicated for airline flight crews.
She then moved through the terminal to a standard TSA screening checkpoint where presenting an ID and boarding pass were not required.
According to video footage, the 57-year-old woman then placed herself in the middle of a large family group traveling together during final checks at the departure gate, a law enforcement official told CNN.
Investigators believe the long lines and busy airport terminal filled with holiday travelers may have been a factor in how she slipped past the multiple checkpoints unchallenged.
The woman was then allegedly removed from a flight due to send her back to New York JFK because of an onboard disturbance.
