New Global Travel Education and Development Organization formed
ONE UNITED has been formed to produce and syndicate internationally, interactive and rich media about travel and tourism to every corner of the Earth, in an effort to create experiential cultural bridges.
The founding principals are from China and the United States. They include principals of Western Returned Scholars Foundation, Travel TV Committee of China TV Association, a Consortium of United Nations NGOs and media alliances, which bring broadband educational delivery systems.
ONE UNITED stands for the UN International Travel Education Development Committee. The Mission of ONE UNITED is to advantage the “united commitment” of a singular focus in sharing knowledge and best practices among individuals and entities worldwide on the value and benefits associated with travel to ALL geographies, as well as the economics of sustainable tourism and Heritage stewardship.
With experiential cultural knowledge and understanding, cross-cultural bridges are built in support of human understanding, planetary interests and UN goals and objectives.
The Committee will utilize all digital platforms to build these “cultural bridges”, from TV to multi-media, from satellite to cell phones. Under construction is the ONE UNITED website at www.1united.org.
As Mr. Geng Dewen, Chairman of ONE UNITED stated:
“Local-global content development and distribution for bridging cultural divides today and tomorrow is consistent with the UN aims of co-operation in solving problems of an economic, environmental, social, cultural and humanitarian character. By portraying Best Practice demonstration sites in state of the art production values, we can model the Service and Art of the Hospitality and Tourism Industries, as well as the technologies and methodologies to achieve Excellence.
We plan to showcase the optimum in human collaboration with the Natural and Built Environments. We shall also explore the emerging stories of economic and financial instruments that are a key factor of the Travel and Tourism, Culture and Sports development of the 21st Millennium.”
ONE UNITED, in one of its first campaigns, is digitizing, transposing and repurposing current and historic UN content for the purpose of bridging cultures by enhancing knowledge and understanding among peoples of all geographies and for the purpose of safeguarding the UN archives for the world and future generations. Content yet to be created will also be included in these digital safeguards.
ONE UNITED VISION

ONE UNITED presents its content and resources and that of the UN and UN member nations, in all available digital platforms in all available geographies and facilitates individualized options to access the same.
