The former president and CEO of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has taken the helm of rival Orient-Express Hotels.
John Scott will become president and CEO of the luxury hotel chain.
Scott was in the same position at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts from 2003 until its sale in 2011.
Paul White, the former president and CEO of Orient-Express Hotels, resigned from the company and from the Board last year.
Bob Lovejoy, chairman of the Board, was named interim CEO until a permanent replacement was found.
