New leadership for The Discerning Collection
Chris Mottershead has taken over day to day control of specialist tour operator The Discerning Collection from Nick Wrightman.
Vivien Wrightman, co-director, will continue to work full time in the business whilst Nick will be stepping down and taking an advisory role.
The Discerning Collection is a family-owned specialist boutique travel company previously led by Nick and Viv Wrightman.
They previously founded Tapestry Holidays.
Trading successfully for over 14 years, the company specialises in boutique hotels, luxury gulets, private villas with pools and tailor-made itineraries.
The Discerning Collection has cultivated a loyal clientele, with 80% of guests returning year after year.
Mottershead said “The Discerning Collection has a very high customer satisfaction, and I am delighted to be taking over the running of the business. We are all looking forward to continuing its successful development.”
Nick Wrightman added: “I am genuinely thrilled to see Chris and his family take the reins. Their passion for the industry ensures a bright and dynamic future for the company.”
