What’s new and fresh in the Texas hotel scene?

Whether planning a trip to Texas from out of state, from overseas or craving a local staycation, here is a trio of the most eagerly awaited Texas hotel openings for later this year.

 

Hall Park Hotel, Frisco – September 2024

Set to open in September 2024, the boutique Hall Park Hotel. located in Frisco, Texas, will be home to 224 rooms, including 60 suites equipped with kitchenettes and balconies overlooking the new Kaleidoscope Park. Guests can enjoy a variety of signature dining options, including a Northern Italian restaurant and a lobby wine bar. The hotel also boasts a cabana-lined rooftop pool, fitness center, rooftop gardens and a terrace patio. Additionally, the property offers 8,500 square feet of event space, including a 4,000-square-feet ballroom and four meeting rooms.


Hotel Saint Augustine, Houston  – Fall 2024

Located in the heart of the Museum District in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, the newly-built hotel is set to open in late 2024. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of Houston, it will feature 71 rooms across two floors, an event space, a restaurant, a courtyard pool, and a lobby bar. The architecture is a collaboration with the renowned architecture firm Lake|Flato. The hotel is adjacent to one of the country’s finest art institutions.

 

Albert Hotel, Fredericksburg – Late 2024 

The long awaited Albert Hotel is set to open in late 2024. The first new hotel in Fredericksburg since 2015 and the city’s first full-service hotel. The boutique property will feature 107 luxury rooms, a full-service spa, two bars and multiple dining options. The food and beverage department includes the Restaurant at Albert Hotel, a counter service deli called The Pharmacy and Junebug’s BBQ.
