May 2024 marked another month of passenger traffic growth at Norse Atlantic Airways.
Passenger numbers more than doubled compared to May 2023, it says.
Norse Atlantic’s load factor continued to rise in line with summer demand, up to 81%.
During last month, Norse Atlantic Airways carried 129,722 passengers on 513 flights, which included 55 charter flights.
It says 81% of flights arrived within 15 minutes of their arrival time and 99% of flights were operated as scheduled.
“May saw Norse Atlantic ramp up operations in line with higher summer season demand. We are pleased to highlight that we have welcomed over double the number of customers on board,” it said.
“We are continuing to increase load factor, ASK and RPK figures.”
During May, Norse Atlantic was confirmed as airline partner of P&O Cruises for their winter 2024/2025 Caribbean fly-cruise season.
“We look forward to welcoming P&O Cruise passengers,” said CEO and founder Bjorn Tore Larsen.
“Additionally, we celebrated the inaugural flight linking a new market with direct flights between New York JFK and Athens.”
Norse Atlantic Airways operates a fleet of 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners serving US and Europe destinations as well as Cape Town and Bangkok.
