Oneworld opens up more fares for group bookings
Oneworld has widened the availability of some of its fares to groups of passengers.
Groups can now book its round-the-world oneworld Explorer fare and the two Circle passes, which enable passengers to fly to the other side of the world and back without actually circumnavigating the globe.
They can now be booked by parties of between 10 and 30 passengers in Economy class or between 10 and 15 in Business class.
All these fares feature flights on all the alliance’s eight existing member airlines and their 12 affiliates, who serve more than 600 destinations in some 135 countries.
This network will be expanded by almost another 100 destinations in 2007, when Japan Airlines, Malév and Royal Jordanian join the group.
Because of the nature of these products, they cannot currently be booked online.
